In Uzbekistan, 10th grade students can now transfer their studies to technical schools

In Uzbekistan, 10th grade students will now have the opportunity to transfer their studies to technical schools. This procedure is established in the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers.

In accordance with the resolution, a unified procedure will be introduced for transferring or restoring the studies of students of vocational education organizations, as well as transferring 10th grade students to technical schools. Applications can be submitted electronically through the State Service Centers or the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (UISP).

A unified procedure for issuing a conclusion on the transfer and restoration of studies will also be established. The process of providing public services will be fully digitized, creating the opportunity to obtain the necessary information from state bodies in electronic form. In cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the possibility of providing these services through the UISP will be established within two months.

This decision aims to expand the opportunities for 10th grade students to receive vocational education in technical schools and simplify the processes related to transferring education.

Earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan will begin paying scholarships to students studying in technical schools in the form of dual education starting from the 2026/27 academic year. The procedure for paying this scholarship was established by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of June 30.

The document notes that the Vocational Education Agency, together with the Ministry of Digital Technologies, will launch a special platform for paying scholarships to students studying in the form of dual education until the 2026/27 academic year.
