Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz News Agency.

Starting this year, eleventh-grade graduates with disabilities will have the opportunity to enroll in specialized technical schools. This will allow them to master relevant professions and successfully integrate into independent work. Such educational institutions already operate in Samarkand, Fergana, and Tashkent.

660 places have been allocated for applicants in 37 different programs. The programs offered include in-demand professions in IT, design, culinary arts, jewelry and sewing, hairdressing, electric vehicle maintenance, and media. The program will be conducted in person.

The application process began on August 10 and ends on September 10. Applications can be submitted online through the my.edu.uz portal. Young people with disabilities can enroll in these technical schools upon presentation of a certificate issued by a medical and social expert commission.

More detailed information on available specializations and admissions requirements is available on the kasbedu.uz platform.

In addition, starting in the 2027/2028 academic year, applicants with disabilities will be granted additional time when taking entrance exams to higher education institutions. This additional time will be 50% of the standard exam duration.
