In the Tashkent Metro, train intervals have once again been reduced during peak hours

On September 15, a high passenger flow was recorded in the Tashkent Metro — 1.16 million people used the subway services. The highest congestion was noted at the stations "Chinor", "Olmazor", "Chilonzor", "Buyuk Ipak Yuli", "Khalklar Dustligi", and "Beruniy".

To regulate the growing flow of passengers and ensure comfortable travel conditions, train traffic during peak hours was organized with reduced intervals. On the Chilanzar line, they are 1.5–2 minutes, on the Uzbekistan line — 3 minutes, on the Yunusabad line — 4 minutes, and on the Circle (Overground) line — 7–8 minutes.

Metro employees constantly monitor the situation at the stations and promptly adjust train movements depending on the current situation. These measures are aimed at ensuring uninterrupted passenger transportation and compliance with all necessary safety requirements.

As a reminder, a day earlier — on September 14 — the metro carried 1,165,550 passengers, setting a new daily record.
