In the Namangan region, the construction of a new bridge over the Naryn River has been completed. It directly connected three districts with the regional center at once.

The length of the structure is 481.5 meters. According to the Ministry of Transport, this is one of the largest and longest river bridges built in Uzbekistan during the years of independence.

The new route connected the Uychi, Uchkurgan, and Naryn districts with Namangan. In parallel, 17.5 kilometers of a new highway were built as part of the project.

The Ministry of Transport expects that the new infrastructure will help relieve traffic congestion in the Uychi and Naryn districts and reduce the risk of road accidents.

Previously, local residents, including schoolchildren, had to cross the canal using pipes.
