Two boats collide in Namangan

The incident occurred on August 23 in the area of the Syrdarya River that flows through the Turakurgan district. Two people are said to have died in the incident.

A collision involving two boats occurred in the Namangan region.

On August 23 of this year, two boats carrying vacationers collided with each other in the Namangan region, on the section of the Syrdarya River that passes through the territory of the Turakurgan district.

According to a Kun.uz source, this incident occurred as a result of a collision under the bridge of boats moving to take guests of a resort in the area. According to preliminary information, two people died as a result of this accident.

The video footage provided to the editorial office shows people wearing life jackets floating in the water and people in boats trying to save them.

At present, no official comment has been made by the relevant organizations regarding this incident.
