A major fire broke out at a building materials market in the Yangi-Namangan district of the Namangan region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations press service reported.

A large-scale fire was reported at a building materials market in Namangan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report of a fire in the market stalls located in the Mingchinor mahalla on August 18 at 1:46 PM.

Fire and rescue crews immediately arrived at the scene. The fire was contained by 1:58 PM, and by 3:58 PM, it was completely extinguished.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being determined.
