In Bobur City, the starting price of land for entrepreneurs will be reduced by two times

In Bobur City, Andijan, the starting price of land for entrepreneurs will be reduced by two times. This was announced during a meeting held during the head of state's visit to this region.

At the meeting, Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that Bobur City plays an important role in creating decent living conditions for the population. In April 2025, the president proposed naming the New Andijan town Bobur City.

25,000 residents have moved into comfortable homes in the city, which is being built on four thousand hectares of hills. The construction of 800 multi-story residential buildings designed for another 200,000 people has begun. Entrepreneurs who wish to build shopping complexes, business centers, hotels, private educational, medical, and sports facilities here will be supported.

Taking into account that the return on investment in such facilities takes a long time, consent was given to set the starting price of land two times cheaper compared to land allocated for housing construction. Instructions were given to put the lands up for auction under the new terms.

Next year, three more major overpasses will be built at the intersections of Milliy Tiklanish and Navoiy, O‘zbekiston and Bobur, Amir Temur, and "Yangi Aylanma Yo‘li" streets. A bridge bypassing the center of Asaka district will also be commissioned.
