In Andijan region, a driver attempted to take $34,000 out to Kyrgyzstan

At the Dustlik border customs post in Andijan region, $34,000 was discovered on a Volvo truck driver. The man was traveling from Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan and failed to declare the money in accordance with the established procedure.

The cash was revealed during an inspection of the vehicle and the driver's personal belongings. The money was hidden in a handbag and clothing pockets.

As reported by the Andijan Region Customs Department, the inspection was conducted jointly with representatives of the border service. An investigation is underway regarding the discovery of the undeclared currency.

In addition, at the same post, another man heading to Kyrgyzstan was found with $64,000 hidden in his socks. The money was temporarily seized, and an investigation is being conducted into the matter.
