Members of an online store engaged in drug sales have been detained in Chirchiq and Kibray district. They distributed illicit substances via dead drops, involving minor girls and students, among others, in this activity. In total, 4.7 kilograms of drugs were seized during the operation, which, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, would be enough for 245,000 single doses.

In Chirchiq, two girls aged 20 and 17 were detained. They were caught at the moment of distributing 41 packages of synthetic drugs. In the rented accommodation of the 17-year-old girl, another 1.259 kilograms of illicit substances, which she was storing for sale, were discovered.

During the further investigation, it turned out that another 16-year-old girl was involved in this activity. She was detained together with a 38-year-old woman while distributing 150 grams of synthetic drugs via dead drops.

During a search of the woman's house, officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs found 2.850 kilograms of mephedrone, 200 grams of Alpha-PVP, and 200 grams of heroin, as well as zip-lock bags, electrical tape, and scales that could be used for packaging drugs.

Several more people were detained in Kibray district. They tried to hide 200 packages of drugs at four addresses so that buyers could pick them up later. Among those detained are young people from Syrdarya, Fergana, and Namangan regions, including students. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they came to Tashkent region and made money by distributing illicit substances.

In total, 4.7 kilograms of drugs were seized during the operation — this amount would be enough for 245,000 single doses.

Law enforcement officers are currently establishing who else participated in the operation of the online drug store and continue to search for others involved in this scheme.

Earlier, 4.5 grams of hashish were found on a driver in Chilanzar district of Tashkent. The man tried to get rid of the drugs during a vehicle inspection.
