Over 6 kilograms of synthetic drugs seized in Tashkent region

In the Yukori-Chirchik district of the Tashkent region, officers of the internal affairs bodies and the State Security Service seized 6.1 kilograms of synthetic drugs. According to law enforcement agencies, this prevented the distribution of more than 20,000 single doses.

The basis for the investigation was a report about a group of individuals distributing drugs through hidden drops (zakladki).

During the operation, a citizen was detained. During a search of his house in the presence of witnesses, law enforcement officers found packages of narcotic substances prepared for distribution.

Following this, operatives searched another house which, according to the investigation, was rented by the suspect. There, they found four plastic containers with a synthetic substance carrying a pungent odor, as well as a synthetic substance in liquid form stored in a plastic bottle.

In total, five suspected members of the group were detained in the Yukorichirchik district. According to law enforcement, the detainee, along with other members of the group, stored the drugs in the rented house after receiving them from an unknown person via Telegram for a financial reward.

The Investigation Department of the Uchtepa District Internal Affairs Coordination Administration has initiated a criminal case under Article 273 of the Criminal Code. The suspects have been taken into custody.

A 25-year-old citizen of Montenegro, who received a package from Germany containing 3 kilograms of clephedrone and 1 kilogram of hashish hidden in sports equipment. In his temporary residence, they also found 11 prepared drug drops containing alpha-PVP.
