In the Chilanzar district of Tashkent, a 21-year-old foreign citizen was detained, from whom more than 5.2 kilograms of synthetic drugs were found and seized.

The banned substances were detected during an operational event conducted by officers of the capital's department of the State Security Service and internal affairs bodies.

During a personal search, a zip-lock bag containing a powdery substance was found on the man. Subsequently, law enforcement officers searched the apartment he was temporarily renting. In the dwelling, the drugs were packaged under the guise of various food products. In total, 4.13 kilograms of 3-chloromethcathinone, 403 grams of amphetamine, 720 grams of MDMA, and 20 grams of cocaine were seized.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact, and investigative actions are underway.

It is also reported that more than 1.2 kilograms of hashish and 782 units of the potent drug "Tropicamide" were seized in the Fergana and Namangan regions.
