In the capital, the operations of a major online store engaged in the sale of drugs have been disrupted. As part of the second stage of the "Kora Dori 2026" operational-preventive event, officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained key members of the drug network and removed about 2.7 kilograms of various prohibited substances from illicit circulation.

The series of detentions started in the Yashnabad district, where operatives tracked down a 20-year-old courier. During a personal search and a search of his apartment, they found 200 grams of hashish, as well as electronic scales, electrical tape, zip-lock bags, and magnets used for packaging and setting up drug stashes.

Further, continuing their work in the same district, on Yangi Uzbekistan Street, law enforcement officers caught a 36-year-old woman red-handed — right while she was preparing another hidden stash. She had 146 packages containing mephedrone and MDMA on her person. The main warehouse of synthetic drugs was uncovered in a dacha house she rented: 1.127 kilograms of mephedrone, 700 grams of alpha-PVP, 427 grams of MDMA, 200 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of hashish, and packaging materials were seized there. Her female accomplice was also detained at the scene.

The final stage of the operation took place in the Urtachirchik district of the Tashkent region, where law enforcement officers detained buyers who had arrived to pick up drugs from locations previously prepared by the stash-makers.

Criminal cases have been initiated against all participants in the scheme under paragraph "a" of part six of Article 273 of the Criminal Code, and the suspects have been taken into custody.

Earlier, in the Almazar district of Tashkent, law enforcement officers detained two men suspected of distributing drugs through a system of hidden stashes. In total, 50 packages of prohibited substances were seized from them.
