About 10 kilograms of drugs were seized from the administrator of an online drug store in Tashkent. Video

An online drug store was shut down in Tashkent, resulting in the seizure of approximately 10 kilograms of prohibited substances. The operation was conducted by officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service.

The administrator and curator of this online resource was a 37-year-old Tashkent resident with a previous criminal record under Articles 164 and 278 of the Criminal Code. He was detained as part of an investigative operation.

A search of his vehicle and residence revealed 9.33 kilograms of hashish and 0.545 kilograms of methamphetamine. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the drugs were intended for further distribution.

The total quantity of drugs seized is equivalent to 64,817 single doses.

Uzbek law provides for imprisonment for up to 20 years for such crimes.

Enhanced operational and preventive measures, codenamed "Kora-Dori 2026," are currently ongoing.

Three cases of drug trafficking were previously reported in the Surkhandarya region, where State Security Service, Ministry of Internal Affairs, and customs officers seized approximately 3 kilograms of opium and hashish.
