On September 5, 1.47 million cars traveled on the roads in Tashkent

On September 5, 1,469,948 vehicles traveled through the streets of Tashkent. According to the Capital's Traffic Management Center, this is 32,109 fewer cars than the previous day, when 1,502,057 vehicles were recorded. This was reported by the Traffic Management Center of the city of Tashkent.

On the same day, the capital's buses made 19,778 trips along 170 routes. Public transport was used by 1,098,438 passengers.

The Tashkent Metro carried another 745,951 passengers during the day.

Congestion on the capital's roads on September 5 remained at a level of 4–5 points. The traffic situation was partially affected by utility works being carried out in seven areas of the city.

In particular, work was carried out on Bogishamol, Al-Khwarizmi, Shokiraryk, P. Mahmud, and Samarkand Darvoza streets, in Westminster Lane, as well as at the intersection of Farkhod and Lutfiy streets. Due to these works, the use of certain sections of the roadway and the flow of traffic were partially restricted.

Drivers are advised to take roadworks into account when planning trips and to choose alternative routes if necessary.

In parallel, the Road Safety Service continued to monitor compliance with traffic rules. Among the violations identified on September 5 were eight cases of cars driving on pedestrian paths, 18 violations of parking rules, and 17 violations of stopping rules.

In addition, four cases of violating traffic rules in lane "A", designated for public transport, were recorded.

Such control measures are carried out, among other things, to ensure priority for public transport, increase pedestrian safety, and ensure compliance with established rules by road users.

Drivers are reminded that they must not leave cars on or in front of pedestrian crossings, must yield to pedestrians at designated crossings, and must not occupy bus stop zones. Motorists should also comply with the requirements when driving in dedicated "A" lanes and not obstruct buses when approaching and leaving stops.
