In Qashqadaryo, a teacher who used physical punishment on a student received a reprimand

In the Kokdala district of Qashqadaryo region, a teacher who used physical punishment on a student was given a reprimand. This was reported by the Children's Ombudsman.

It is noted that a resident of the Kokdala district, O.T., appealed to the secretariat of the Children's Ombudsman, stating that the teacher F.R. had used physical punishment against their child, T.D., who is studying at the school.

The citizen requested that appropriate measures be taken regarding this situation.

Based on the request of the Children's Ombudsman, the appeal was studied by officials of the Qashqadaryo Regional Department of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

According to the results of the investigation, a disciplinary sanction in the form of a reprimand was applied to the teacher who allowed unacceptable educational methods in teaching.

Additionally, all school officials were warned about the obligation to comply with legislative acts on protecting children from all forms of violence and to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children during the educational process.
