In Ohangaron, a criminal case has been opened regarding the death of a 2-year-old child who was poisoned by insect repellent at a kindergarten. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the case was opened under the article of improper performance of professional duties, and 1 person has been involved as a suspect. The public learned about this tragedy a month later.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the death of a 2-year-old child from poisoning at a kindergarten in the city of Ohangaron. On August 28, a 2-year-old pupil who consumed an insect control substance kept in the kindergarten kitchen suffered severe poisoning.
Despite the necessary medical treatment provided at the city medical association, the child passed away in the hospital on August 30.
Regarding this situation, a criminal case has been opened under Article 116, Part 3 of the Criminal Code — "Failure to properly perform professional duties, resulting in human death."
Within the framework of the case, 1 person has been involved as a suspect.
As a reminder, the Preschool and School Education Department of Tashkent Region reacted to the incident, stating that the deceased child's grandmother worked as a cook in the kitchen of this kindergarten, and the tragedy occurred when the child went to be near his grandmother.
