In the Namangan region, farmers will be refunded 90% of their land tax
In 2027, an experiment will be launched in the Namangan region to refund 90% of land tax to owners of household plots and smallholder farms.
According to a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, to receive the payout, one must grow agricultural products and receive more than 25 BAV per hundred square meters per year from their sale. In addition, it is necessary to fully pay the land tax and have no debts from previous years.
To apply for the refund, plot owners will need to specify the land area, types of products grown, and sales volumes on the "Online Mahalla" platform. The cost of products for calculating income will be determined taking into account prices on the UzexAgro platform.
If a farmer uses land without documents or occupies an area larger than specified in them, the refund amount will be reduced.
The payout amount will be automatically calculated by the Tax Committee. Funds will be transferred to a bank card, and the refund can be applied for through a special mobile app of the tax authorities.
The experiment will be conducted in 2027, and the procedure will remain in effect until the beginning of 2028.
Earlier, Uzbekistan announced new support measures for farmers, cotton clusters, exporters of finished products, and industrial enterprises creating a large number of jobs.
