In the Davlatabad district of the Namangan region, a 36-year-old man suspected of manufacturing and selling synthetic drugs was detained. An underground laboratory, about 300 grams of prohibited substances, packaging equipment, and a large sum of money were discovered in his home.

The operation was carried out by officers of the Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of the State Security Service of the Namangan region.

According to law enforcement agencies, the man was detained on September 26 in the "Yuksalish" mahalla. He was attempting to sell 5 grams of a synthetic drug to an undercover buyer for 2 million soums. The substance was packed in a plastic bag.

Following the detention, security forces conducted a search of his home. There, they found about 300 grams of synthetic drugs — estimated by experts to be approximately 30,000 doses.

In addition, 11 packaging devices, electronic scales, about 500 zip-lock bags, and a phone, which according to the investigation was used to communicate with buyers via Telegram, were seized. They also found 5,000 dollars, presumably obtained from drug sales.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this fact under articles related to illicit drug trafficking and the organization of a drug laboratory. The suspect has been detained, and an investigation is underway.

This substance, also referred to as "salt" or "crystals," is considered one of the most dangerous synthetic drugs that rapidly cause addiction.
