During the special operation, a 45-year-old native of the Andijan region was detained. According to law enforcement officers, he was attempting to sell the narcotic substance to a 28-year-old man.
Operatives established that the substance in question was opium. The value of one kilogram of the drug on the illegal market was estimated at 20 thousand dollars. The total value of the seized batch, according to law enforcement, amounted to approximately 240 million soums.
