In Fergana, a person was arrested while selling 4 kg of hashish for 40 thousand dollars

A person selling 4 kg of hashish for 40 thousand dollars was detained in Fergana

In the Beshariq district of the Fergana region, a person selling 4 kilograms of hashish for 40 thousand US dollars was detained.

On September 4, within the framework of the "Qoradori-2026" comprehensive operational-preventive measures, an operation was conducted in cooperation with the regional Department of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Operational-Search Department, and the State Security Service.

During the operation, a citizen born in 1991, residing in the Beshariq district, was caught with material evidence while selling the narcotic substance hashish, consisting of four pieces with a total weight of 4 kilograms, to a buyer for 40 thousand dollars.

During the operational event, the illegal circulation of the narcotic substance, whose black market value was estimated at 480 million soums, was prevented.

Regarding this situation, a criminal case was initiated by the Investigation Department under the Kokand City Department of Internal Affairs under Article 273 of the Criminal Code.

As a result, the distribution of nearly 2 kilograms of narcotic substances among the population was prevented.
