In Andijan, a person who promised to reduce a 400 million soum electricity debt of a retail store was detained

In the Oltinkol district of Andijan region, a person who promised to reduce a 400 million soum electricity debt of a retail store was detained while receiving 3 thousand dollars.

During an operational event conducted by the Oltinkol district department under the General Prosecutor's Office in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, citizen M.A. told citizen Q.M. that he would reduce the debt incurred due to the illegal use of electricity in Q.M.'s retail store.

M.A. promised to resolve this issue through his acquaintances working at the Andijan regional branch of "Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari" JSC. He was caught with material evidence while receiving 3 thousand USD for this.

Regarding the situation, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 168 (fraud) and Articles 28, 211 (bribery) of the Criminal Code. Investigative actions are currently underway.
