Man arrested in Andijan for demanding $10,000 for kindergarten license

A person who promised to obtain a license to open a kindergarten in Andijan and demanded $10,000 was detained. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this.

According to the report, a citizen born in 1984 in Andijan district promised to help a citizen born in 1974 living in Balikchi district establish a private preschool educational institution. He promised to obtain a license and other necessary permits through high-ranking acquaintances.

In return, he asked for $10,000 from the citizen. During the raid, the suspect was detained with material evidence in the Mustaqillik neighborhood of Andijan while receiving $5,000 of the agreed amount.

A criminal case has been initiated in this case, and the suspect has been detained in a procedural manner. Preliminary investigations are currently underway.

Recall that earlier in Namangan, a former bank manager was caught taking $20,000 from a citizen. He offered to sell the citizen a plot of land in the Naryn district, which is on the balance sheet of the regional pumping stations and energy department. Also, in Fergana, the head of the district branch of the Cadastre Chamber was caught taking a bribe.
