Illegal sale of potent drugs thwarted in Tashkent

In the Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent, a man who was illegally selling potent drugs was detained during a special operation. The transaction was intercepted at the moment the goods were being handed over to the buyer.

Officers of the district department of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office received information about the upcoming deal and established that 50 units of the drug "Omnadren-250" were to be handed over to the buyer.

The buyer was supposed to pay 800 dollars for the medicine. At the moment of the sale, the seller was detained, and the drugs were seized as physical evidence.

A criminal case has been initiated on this fact under the article providing for liability for the illicit trafficking of potent substances. An investigation is underway.

Earlier, the supply of 11,000 psychotropic tablets was intercepted in the Fergana Valley.
