The world's longest glass bridge will be built in Kyrgyzstan

To Truly Surprise

A 732-meter glass suspension bridge is planned for construction in the Ala-Archa National Park in Kyrgyzstan. Upon completion, it could become the longest structure of its kind in the world.

The project was discussed during a visit to the park by Kanybek Tumanbaev, Head of the Presidential Affairs Directorate of the Kyrgyz Republic. He met with representatives of a European company whose name has not been disclosed. The meeting participants also inspected the site selected for construction.

Works are scheduled to begin in November 2026 and be completed by the end of 2027. Once the site is commissioned, the possibility of registering it in the Guinness World Records will be considered.

In addition to the bridge, an ecological hiking route is planned in the Ala-Archa park from the Tepshi plateau to Mount Teke-Too and the waterfall. The project will become part of a large-scale development of the park's tourist infrastructure. A cable car has already been commissioned here, rest houses have been built, and the construction of a five-star hotel is in its final stage.

The new facilities are expected to expand Ala-Archa's tourism capabilities and attract more local and foreign visitors.

It was previously reported that Kyrgyzstan remains the most popular foreign destination for tourists from Uzbekistan.
