A bridge with a height of 122 meters is being built in Jalal-Abad
In the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, a bridge with a height of 122 meters is being constructed as part of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway construction project.
The total length of this bridge, which spans the Kech-Olot River, is 956.67 meters, the height of its tallest pier is 96 meters, and the total height of the bridge is 122 meters.
Currently, the pouring of the bridge foundation has been fully completed. The construction of piers and columns is 54 percent complete.
The China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway starts from Kashgar in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in northwestern China and enters Kyrgyzstan through the Torugart Pass. It then heads west and ends in the city of Andijan in eastern Uzbekistan. The total length of the railway exceeds 500 kilometers, of which 304.84 kilometers pass through the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, stated that the budget could receive at least 400–500 million dollars in net income from the transit of goods through the country.
