If several children of a pedagogue study on a contract basis, a 30 percent discount will be provided for each of them
A separate 30 percent discount will be applied for each child of pedagogues studying on a contract basis in the daytime form of education at state higher education institutions. Those who have already paid the contract in advance can also take advantage of the benefit and receive a refund of the excess amount or transfer it to the next academic year.
If a pedagogue has several children studying on a contract basis, each of them will be granted a 30 percent discount.
To avail of the discount, an application must be submitted through the kontrakt.edu.uz platform. The application will be reviewed within two business days. Once it is confirmed that the student is the child of a pedagogue, the discount will be applied automatically.
The privilege applies only to full-time students at state higher education organizations. If several children of a pedagogue meet these requirements, each of them may use the discount separately.
This privilege also applies to students studying under a partial grant, namely where 50 percent of the costs are covered by a state grant and the remaining 50 percent by a contract. In this case, the 30 percent discount is calculated only on the contract portion.
Whether a pedagogue works in a state or private educational organization does not prevent them from receiving the privilege. Children of pedagogues working in private universities, schools, and kindergartens can also receive the discount under the established conditions. Kindergarten educators are also included in the scope of the privilege.
According to the explanation provided, the scope of pedagogues is determined based on the list of positions related to pedagogical activity registered by the Ministry of Justice on June 9, 2026, under number 3849. There are 465 positions on this list. Tutors and learning center teachers are not included in the scope of this privilege.
The discount does not apply to: those studying in higher military and paramilitary educational organizations; students of non-state universities, foreign universities in Uzbekistan, and their branches; evening, distance, and extramural forms of education; additional and differentiated fee-contracts; those studying in joint educational programs and faculties with foreign partner universities.
The privilege is applied once for each academic year and can be reused in subsequent years. If a father or mother is removed from the category of pedagogue, the provision of the discount will be discontinued starting from the next academic year.
