It has been reported that the possibility of submitting electronic applications for the benefit will be launched in the coming days.
Tuition fee discount for children of pedagogues: application and payment procedure
According to the provided explanation, the discount applies to the children of employees whose positions are included in the list of pedagogical activities in the joint decision registered by the Ministry of Justice on July 9, 2026, under number 3849.
Administrative, technical, and maintenance staff are not included in this list.
The student submits an application to obtain a tuition fee contract through the kontrakt.edu.uz information system. Once their status as a child of a pedagogue is electronically verified and confirmed, a 30 percent discount is granted.
The application is reviewed within two working days. The discount is applied once during an academic year.
The student can pay the remaining amount after the discount either in full or in installments. In the case of installment payments, the following proportions relative to the initial full contract amount are set:
- 25 percent — by October 15 for those admitted to the first year, and by October 1 for second-year and higher-year students;
- another 25 percent — by January 1;
- the remaining 20 percent — by March 1.
Thus, the student's total payment will amount to 70 percent of the contract fee. The 30 percent corresponding to the discount will be reimbursed to the higher education institution from the state budget funds by May 1.
According to the report, work is underway to integrate the databases of ministries and agencies to automatically determine the pedagogical activity of parents in the kontrakt.edu.uz system.
