A tuition discount is being introduced for the children of educators
Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, children of educators studying full-time in bachelor's programs at state universities will be eligible to receive an annual 30% discount on the cost of their tuition contract. To apply for it, it is sufficient to submit an application via kontrakt.edu.uz.
Discount on tuition fees introduced for children of educators
By Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 501 dated September 17, 2026, the procedure for granting a discount on the amount of the paid contract to children of educators who have entered and are studying at state higher educational organizations has been approved.
According to the document, starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, children of educators who have entered and are studying at state universities will be granted an annual discount of 30% of the tuition fee amount.
The benefit applies to children of educators studying in full-time bachelor's programs at state universities. If one educator has several children studying, the discount is granted to each of them individually.
This discount is not provided to students:
To obtain a tuition fee contract, an application must be submitted through the kontrakt.edu.uz system. During the application review process, the status of the educator's child is verified through the interdepartmental integration platform of the "Digital Government" system. After this, the discount is applied automatically.
Applications are reviewed by the authorized body within two working days. At the same time, the discount is provided once for each academic year.
If, during the period of study, the student's parent — father or mother — ceases to belong to the category of educators, the provision of the discount is terminated starting from the next academic year.
