How will education management now be established in Uzbekistan?
It has been revealed that tasks in the field of education have been briefly distributed as follows:
The Ministry of Education and Science will be responsible for daily activities and organizational work. The quality of education, the construction of new schools, kindergartens, and universities, as well as the educational process and the protection of children's interests, will remain within the ministry's competence.
The Center for Educational Development will function as an educational laboratory. The center's specialists will develop textbooks, teaching materials, programs, and methodologies, and subsequently implement them into practice, conduct monitoring, and refine them.
A group led by Zafar Khashimov will analyze the structure of ten thousand schools in the country. Internal business processes will be studied and problems and deficiencies in the system will be identified in order to prepare specific proposals to improve the quality and structure of education.
The Presidential Administration, meanwhile, will deal with global issues — developing strategy, coordination, and conducting general policy in the field of education.
Earlier, Erkinjon Turdimov was appointed First Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan – Minister of Education and Science.
