How much does it cost to prepare 1 kg of plov in the regions of Uzbekistan?

For September 2026, the calculated cost of preparing one kilogram of plov in the city of Tashkent amounted to 132,625 soums. This was recorded in the data of the National Statistics Committee.

Among the regions, the second highest figure was recorded in Fergana region — 129,142 soums. It was 126,786 soums in Tashkent region, and 125,828 soums in Samarqand region.

In Qashqadaryo, one kilogram of plov was calculated at 124,515 soums, in Surxondaryo at 123,762 soums, in Bukhara at 123,248 soums, and in Navoiy at 123,110 soums.

In Khorezm region, the cost of one kilogram of plov amounted to 122,563 soums. It was 121,679 soums in Namangan, and 121,331 soums in Jizzakh.

In Andijan region, this cost amounted to 118,112 soums, and in Syrdarya to 117,600 soums.

Meanwhile, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the calculated cost for one kilogram of plov was 111,955 soums. This is 20,670 soums lower than the highest cost in the city of Tashkent.

Thus, among the 14 regions, the cost in the city of Tashkent was the highest. It is nearly 18.5 percent higher than the figure in Karakalpakstan.
