In Tashkent, the calculated cost of one kilogram of pilaf has exceeded 130 thousand soums

According to the Committee's calculations, the cost of ingredients required to prepare one kilogram of pilaf in the city of Tashkent amounted to 130 thousand 285 soums. It is followed by Fergana region with 126 thousand 711 soums, Tashkent region with 124 thousand 226 soums, and Samarkand region with 123 thousand 498 soums.

The lowest figure was observed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, where the calculated cost for pilaf amounted to 109 thousand 605 soums. In Andijan, this figure was 115 thousand 377 soums, and in Sirdaryo, it was 115 thousand 398 soums.

In Qashqadaryo region, the calculated cost of one kilogram of pilaf amounted to 122 thousand 257 soums, in Bukhara 120 thousand 600 soums, in Navoiy 120 thousand 850 soums, and in Surxondaryo 121 thousand 367 soums.

The calculation takes into account the prices of 0.3 liters of sunflower oil, 0.3 kilograms of onions, 0.7 kilograms of beef, 1 kilogram of carrots, 1 kilogram of lazer rice, 0.1 kilograms of chickpeas, 0.01 kilograms of cumin, and 0.02 kilograms of table salt.

The data was compiled based on the observation results of the National Statistics Committee for August 2026.
