In Uzbekistan, the volume of accommodation and food services reached nearly 150 trillion soums in 7 months

In January-July 2026, the volume of accommodation and food services in Uzbekistan amounted to 149.7 trillion soums. This figure increased by 15 percent compared to the same period in 2025.

According to the National Statistics Committee, by region, the highest volume of services was recorded in the city of Tashkent — 25.9 trillion soums. It is followed by Samarkand region — 17.7 trillion soums, Namangan region — 15.7 trillion soums, and Fergana region — 14.6 trillion soums.

The volume of these services amounted to 13 trillion soums in Qashqadaryo, 10.8 trillion soums in Tashkent region, 9.9 trillion soums in Andijan, and 8.3 trillion soums in Khorezm.

Accommodation and food services worth 7.9 trillion soums were provided in Karakalpakstan, 7.5 trillion soums in Bukhara, 6.3 trillion soums in Surxondaryo, 4.8 trillion soums in Navoiy, 4.3 trillion soums in Jizzakh, and 2.9 trillion soums in Syrdarya.

It was previously reported that in 2025, the volume of accommodation and food services in Uzbekistan reached 227 trillion soums. During that period, the region with the highest volume of services was recorded in the city of Tashkent with 38.7 trillion soums.

This was followed by Samarkand with services provided worth 26 trillion soums, Namangan with 23.6 trillion soums, and Fergana region, where 22.8 trillion soums were spent on accommodation and food.
