How much does an employee who works on a holiday get paid?

In Uzbekistan, employees who work on holidays or non-working days are paid at least double the amount of their wages. At the employee's request, such work may be compensated by granting another day off.

How is the salary calculated for employees who work on weekends?

According to labor legislation, work performed on weekends or non-working holidays must be paid at least twice as much. However, the internal documents of the organization may provide for a higher salary for work on these days than twice.

At the same time, the employee has the right to choose to be given another day off instead of the increased salary for work on a weekend or non-working holiday. In such a situation, the employee is paid a salary in the amount of one share for the worked weekend or holiday, and at his request, another day off is provided.

The legislation also establishes a special procedure for employees who work according to a work schedule. In particular, if an employee works on a generally established day off in accordance with the employment contract or work schedule - Saturday or Sunday in a five-day working week, and Sunday in a six-day working week, but the day off is given to him on another day, he is paid a salary in the amount of one share for this work.
