Salaries and scholarships will be increased from September 1
In Uzbekistan, salaries and stipends for employees of budgetary organizations will be increased by 7% from September 1, 2026. From this date, the minimum amount of remuneration will be set at 1 million 360 thousand soums per month, and the base calculation amount will be 440 thousand soums.

Starting from September 1, the amount of wages and scholarships will be increased.
This is stated in the Presidential Decree No. PF-115 dated June 23, 2026 "On increasing the amount of wages, pensions, scholarships and benefits".
According to the document, starting from September 1, the salary of employees of budgetary organizations will be increased by 7%. The amount of scholarships awarded to students will also increase by 7%.
Also, starting from September 1, the minimum amount of remuneration for labor will increase from the current 1 million 271 thousand soums to 1 million 360 thousand soums.
The basic calculation amount will be increased from 412 thousand soums to 440 thousand soums.
The basic calculation amount is used, among other things, to calculate certain state duties, fees, fines and other payments established by law.
The decree set a different deadline for increasing pensions and benefits. They were increased by 7% from July 1, 2026. In particular, the minimum old-age pension was set at 983 thousand soums per month, the minimum amount of disability pensions was set at 1 million 83 thousand soums, and the base amount for calculating pensions was set at 504 thousand soums.
The costs associated with increasing wages, pensions, scholarships and benefits will be covered from the State Budget and the extra-budgetary Pension Fund under the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
