List of teachers receiving ministerial bonus for nine months announced

List of 1,696 teachers to receive ministerial bonuses announced

It was announced that 1,696 qualified teachers in Uzbekistan will receive ministerial bonuses for 9 months this year.

By the relevant order of the Minister of Preschool and School Education, the list of qualified teachers to receive monthly bonuses from the Minister's Fund was approved.

The winners of the competition were distributed as follows:

* From general secondary schools - 1,400;

* From specialized educational institutions - 98;

* From preschool educational organizations - 198.

The winners will be paid a bonus in the following amounts for a total of 9 months from September 2026 to May 2027:

* Teachers of general education institutions - 5.5 times the minimum wage (7 million 480 thousand soums);

* Teachers of preschool educational institutions - 2 times the minimum wage (2 million 992 thousand soums).

The monthly bonus paid to teachers from the fund of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education was introduced in 2022. In 2026, the limited number of qualified teachers who will receive a monthly bonus from the fund of the Minister was set at 1,900. Quotas are distributed in the areas of Preschool Education, Primary Education, Philology, Social Sciences, Exact Sciences, Natural and Economic Sciences, Applied Sciences across the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions, and the city of Tashkent.

Starting from September 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Uzbekistan will be 1 million 360 thousand soums per month.
