Starting from 2027, the budget in Uzbekistan will cover the costs of family kindergartens for children of working mothers
Starting January 1, 2027, parental fees for family kindergartens for children of working mothers will be covered by the state budget. This was announced by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with teachers and mentors.
This measure applies to children aged two to three years. This refers to family-based preschool institutions.
In addition, the authorities will continue to create conditions for educators to obtain higher education without interrupting their work. Starting next academic year, the duration of study at pedagogical universities will be reduced from four to three years.
Assistant educators will also be able to take advantage of this opportunity. To do so, they will need to have worked in a kindergarten for at least five years.
