For the first time, the "Yashil uyim" (My Green Home) eco-festival will be held in Andijan

On September 26 of this year, the city of Andijan will host the "Yashil uyim" ecological festival for the first time. Organized with the financial support of the European Union, the event will be held at the Berlin Zentrum complex.
According to the press service of the EU Delegation, the festival is aimed at widely promoting an ecological lifestyle, waste sorting and recycling, the rational use of resources, as well as modern scientific and ecological solutions.
During the festival, open lectures with experts, master classes on waste recycling, a fair of ecological products and scientific developments, prize draws, and a live music program will be organized for guests.
Various activities related to an ecological lifestyle and sustainable development will be held in the main area of the festival. In particular, talks and discussions will take place with the participation of leading experts on topics such as "Eco-living is not expensive: where to start at home?", "Cancer genomics", "Why sort waste?", "Let's learn sign language", and "Ecology or economy?".
Educational and interactive activities, a robotics class, and scientific experiments will also be organized for children as part of the event.
During the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a fair of ecological products and get acquainted with local ecological initiatives and scientific developments.
Additionally, special collection points that encourage waste disposal and reuse will operate on the festival grounds. These points will accept batteries, used vegetable oil, paper, cellophane, and aluminum.
