The 5th International Ecological Congress "Youth - Builders of the Future" is being held in Kashkadarya.

The 5th International Ecological Congress "Youth - Builders of the Future" is being held on August 10-15 of this year at the "Lochin" children's camp in the Shahrisabz district of the Kashkadarya region.

About 800 eco-active young people from Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, as well as from all regions of Uzbekistan are participating in this congress.

At the opening ceremony of the event, a 35-tree planting campaign was organized in connection with the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The teams also introduced themselves through demonstrations, in which the main attention was paid to their ecological ideas.

Various contests and competitions, presentations and exhibitions, meetings, plogging and campaigns, projects and events are planned to be held within the framework of the congress. In particular, such contests as "The Best Environmental Project", "The Best Council of the "Young Ecologists" Movement", "Eco-Intelligence" and "Cheerful and Clever" international competitions will be held.

This international congress will serve to increase the activity of young people in the ecological and socio-economic spheres, to widely involve them in environmental protection, to implement promising ideas and projects in the ecological sphere, as well as to develop proposals on environmental problems and their solutions.
