The V International Youth Forum's environmental landing has begun.

The 5th International Youth Environmental Forum has opened in Kashkadarya Region.
From August 10th to 15th, the Lochin Children's Health Camp in the Shakhrisabz District of Kashkadarya Region became the region's central environmental venue, hosting the 5th International Environmental Forum, entitled "Youth – Builders of the Future!"
This large-scale event was organized by the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Ecology and Climate Change, the Agency for Youth Affairs, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the regional and Tashkent city khokimiyats.
The forum brought together approximately 800 environmental activists. In addition to representatives from all regions of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, young environmentalists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic arrived in Kashkadarya.
The opening ceremony of the forum took place on the first evening. Delegates from various countries presented unique creative and dance performances showcasing the national character of their countries and regions. The ceremony was opened by Zarrina Abdullaeva, Head of the Department for Public Events and Environmental Activists, who delivered a welcoming speech and detailed the forum's extensive program. The festive event featured songs, and participants presented the organizers with commemorative gifts as a token of their gratitude.
The main goal of the international summit is to engage the younger generation in addressing pressing environmental issues, stimulating youth socioeconomic activity, preserving the environment, and generating and implementing innovative green projects. The forum program includes both business and practical events. One of the highlights was a symbolic event during which delegates planted 35 trees in honor of the upcoming 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence.
Furthermore, participants presented their teams and key environmental ideas at specialized exhibitions. The program also includes joint waste collection drives, presentations, interactive meetings, project fairs, and educational and practical sessions.
The forum's program features a special competition section. The forum features prestigious international competitions, contests, and contests, including "Best Environmental Project," "Best Council of the Young Ecologists Movement," intellectual games ("Eco-IQ," "Eco-Zakovat," "Mind and Miracles"), and the KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive).
