Flights from Krasnoyarsk to Fergana and Samarkand may be launched
Uzbekistan Airports and Krasnoyarsk International Airport have discussed how to develop air services between the Russian region and cities in Uzbekistan.
The meeting participants considered options for attracting airlines and launching new direct flights. The focus was on the Krasnoyarsk — Fergana and Krasnoyarsk — Samarkand routes.
In addition, the parties discussed the development of transit routes. Thus, Fergana could become a convenient connection point for flights to Istanbul, and Samarkand for flights to Tel Aviv and Dubai.
For passengers from Uzbekistan, Krasnoyarsk, in turn, could serve as a transit hub for further travel to cities in the Far East and China.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly work on promising destinations and attracting carriers, as well as to launch marketing projects to promote the new routes.
