Film director Zulfikar Musakov was presented with an apartment in New Tashkent as a Presidential gift
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented the famous film director Zulfikar Musakov with a 3-room apartment in a multi-story residential building being constructed in the New Tashkent area.
Today, October 26, at an event held, the President's Advisor on Representative Bodies, Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations, and Youth Issues, Olimjon Davlatov, handed over the keys to the 88-square-meter apartment to the film director.
Unable to hide his excitement from the unexpected gift, Zulfikar Musakov expressed his gratitude to the head of state and highlighted the attention being paid to creative professionals.
"We liked it very much, we are over the moon. Because everything is great. An hour ago, I couldn't even imagine that such an event would happen. This was an unexpected gift for me," said the director.
According to him, he and his family have been living in a three-room apartment for 45 years. He raised his children in that house, and his grandchildren are also growing up there.
The film director also touched upon the President's initiatives aimed at supporting representatives of art and culture. He emphasized that tax incentives, housing, and measures aimed at improving social conditions are of great importance for creators.
"We have our actors, we have our directors, we have our writers. They have dedicated their entire lives to this field. For example, I cannot imagine myself doing any job other than making films. I have worked in this field my whole life.
I think that today's attention is just a prelude for artists and all creators," Musakov said.
The director's spouse also expressed her satisfaction with the new apartment and thanked the President on behalf of her family.
For information, today, October 26, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is scheduled to visit the "Renaissance" cinema house and meet with cinematography workers. During the meeting, the work being carried out in the field and future plans are expected to be discussed, and the presentation of the apartment to Zulfikar Musakov as a Presidential gift is expected to be announced to the public.
