In the "Kichkirik" mahalla of the Almazar district of Tashkent, an eight-story tower parking lot for 16 cars has been built. It operates on the elevator principle: a central lift receives the car and automatically places it in an empty space. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited and inspected the facility.

On September 11, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Kichkirik mahalla in the Almazar district of Tashkent, where large-scale improvement works have been completed.
A total of 71.4 billion soums was allocated from the local budget for the activities under the "Obod Mahalla" program.
The mahalla has existed for more than 30 years. There are 23 apartment buildings on its territory, with over 5,400 people living in 1,416 apartments.
One of the key sites was a 2.4 km long promenade along the Kichkirik canal. According to the Presidential Administration, 12.4 km of pedestrian paths were laid here, green zones were expanded, and an ayvan, 14 gazebos, fountains, and a water wheel were built.
About 6,500 decorative and fruit trees were planted in the mahalla, building facades were renovated, and benches and lighting were installed. Additionally, 12 workout areas, three football fields, and libraries were established, the report says.
There are 47 entrepreneurs operating within the mahalla. Under new projects, 61 jobs have been created.
During the visit, the President also familiarized himself with projects aimed at resident employment.

The President also visited kindergarten No. 441, which opened in 1976. Two new buildings with 450 spaces were constructed on the vacant territory, increasing the institution's total capacity to 835 children.
A salt room was equipped in the kindergarten, and classes in English, mental arithmetic, drawing, music, rhythmic gymnastics, chess, and taekwondo were organized.
Mirziyoyev was also presented with the interactive platform "Learning the Uzbek Language Through Play," designed for studying the state language through games and digital tools.
In addition, the President familiarized himself with a road safety club. He noted the need to develop such classes in other kindergartens as well, in order to teach children safe behavior on the roads from an early age.
