A meeting dedicated to the socio-economic development of Kashkadarya region, chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has begun.
The head of state announced at the meeting that he would reward a number of Kashkadarya activists.
In particular, writer Javlon Jovliyev, chief editor of the "Mutolaa" project, as well as Baxtishod Rashidov and E’zoza Xushvaqtova, winners of the national contest "Young Reader Family", will be presented with new two-room apartments in Tashkent city.
It was also announced that Nurbek Ergashev, head of the "Sultonteks" cluster, will be awarded the honorary title "Honored Entrepreneur of Uzbekistan", and Abdumannop Xudoyberdiyev, a lemon grower from Kamashi, will be awarded the honorary title "Honored Agricultural Worker of Uzbekistan".
The President proposed to present the awards during the meeting itself.
