Electricity for large consumers in Uzbekistan will become cheaper during the day — the tariff will be reduced by 1.5 times
For large consumers of electricity, the calculation procedure based on the time of day has been changed. From 09:00 to 17:00, a reduction factor of 1.5 will apply. This is stated in the amendments introduced by the Presidential Decree dated September 22, 2026.
The new procedure applies to consumers of the I tariff group. This group includes large industrial enterprises and budgetary organizations with a capacity of 750 kVA and above.
Previously, the reduction factor was applied at night — from 22:00 to 06:00. Now, during this period, electricity will be paid for at the general tariff. Meanwhile, calculations during peak hours remain unchanged.
Since June 1, the general tariff for consumers of the I group has been 1,100 soums per 1 kWh, including VAT. With the reduction factor, the cost will be approximately 733.3 soums per 1 kWh.
