Driving with open doors ended in a fine for a bus driver in Tashkent

In Tashkent, a bus driver was fined 10% of his salary for driving with open doors. The violation was identified after a post about the failure to comply with passenger safety requirements spread on social media.

Toshshahartransxizmat reported that the incident occurred on October 4. While in motion, the driver operated a technically sound bus with its doors open, thereby violating the requirements of his job description.

Following the investigation, disciplinary measures were applied to the driver. According to an order dated October 5, a fine of 10% will be deducted from his salary.

The company emphasized that passenger safety and compliance with bus operation rules are under constant monitoring. In addition, control over the performance of drivers' duties has been strengthened to prevent a recurrence of such cases.

The management of the 12th bus depot apologized to passengers for the inconvenience caused.
