"If any arrogant rich guy appears, I will not forgive!" – the president

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the importance of security for entrepreneurship at a meeting on the socio-economic development of the city of Tashkent, increasing investment and employment, and creating modern infrastructure in neighborhoods.

The Minister of Internal Affairs was tasked with working harder on curbing crime.

"Until we curb crime, there will be no prosperity in our work, and entrepreneurs will not come. Know this... All of you know this. You are not doing a small job. Do not think that you are working temporarily. Know one thing, we must be grateful for this peace. But we must work twice as hard so that our people can live in peace. Peaceful, comfortable in their homes, free, without fear, of anyone. If any arrogant rich guy appears, I will not forgive any of you... There must be a state, then we will have unity, solidarity, and people will trust us," the president said.

The amount of alimony may be determined based on the child's age and needs

The procedure for calculating alimony based on monthly income may be abolished. This was announced by the chairperson of the Family and Women's Committee, Dilnoza Kattakhonova, during her speech in the Senate.

According to her, recently there has been an increase in cases where parents hide their actual income and register themselves in low-paying jobs in order to reduce the amount of alimony. In this regard, it is proposed to determine the minimum consumer basket for each age category and calculate the amount of alimony based on the consumer basket needed for the child, rather than based on the father's or mother's salary.

Also, some functions related to the collection of alimony may be transferred from the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement to the private sector.

In addition, 150 employees were held administratively liable and 1,335 were officially warned.

In addition to taking measures based on shortcomings in the appeals, practical training seminars were organized in about 10 organizations receiving the most appeals to correct the mistakes and shortcomings made.

Industrial blasting in the mountains of Samarkand caused public objections

An investigation has begun into the industrial blasting operations carried out in the mountainous area of the Samarkand region.

According to the regional Ecology Department, blasting operations were carried out in the mountainous area of the Nurobod district close to residential areas. It was found that this is causing serious objections from local residents. The blasting operations were carried out by a local enterprise engaged in mining and open-pit mining activities.

The Ecology Department stated that relevant control measures are currently being carried out in the area, and emphasized that state inspectors are studying the necessary documents in order to give a legal assessment of the situation.
