Daily passenger traffic on Tashkent buses exceeds 1.5 million people
On September 15, a record number of passenger trips by bus transport was recorded in Tashkent. Over the course of the day, city buses carried 1,520,113 passengers.

There are 170 bus routes operating in the capital. Of these, 165 are operated by JSC "Toshshaxartransxizmat". On the remaining five routes, transportation is carried out by LLC "Avtotransservis", LLC "Ideal Auto Service", and LLC "Ziyo trans".
On September 14, the Tashkent Metro also set a new record. More than 1.16 million passengers used the subway services in a single day.
The metro administration expects further growth in passenger traffic. According to forecasts, the number of daily passengers could reach 1.2 million people as early as October.
