Cool weather to begin arriving in Uzbekistan over the weekend

Cool air is expected to enter Uzbekistan starting from the weekend.

According to Uzgidromet, in the last days of summer, slightly warm weather will remain in most regions of Uzbekistan. Daytime temperatures will mainly be around 33-38 degrees, and in the south in some places they may rise to 39-40 degrees.

In the last days of August, cool air masses will begin to enter the northwestern regions of Uzbekistan, and by August 31, daytime temperatures will drop to 25-30 degrees. On September 1, relatively cool air masses will spread to all regions of Uzbekistan, and the air temperature will drop to 3-5 degrees.

Mostly dry weather is forecast for these days. Only in the north of the Republic of Karakalpakstan on Friday and Saturday, short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible.

In some places across the republic, the wind speed may increase to 13-18 meters/second, and in some places it may occasionally reach 20-22 meters/second, accompanied by dust.

The weather in Tashkent will be mostly partly cloudy, no precipitation is expected. The daytime air temperature will be 35-38 degrees on August 28-30, 34-36 degrees on August 31, and 30-32 degrees on September 1. At night, the temperature will drop to 20-22 degrees, and on September 1 to 16-18 degrees.
