What will the weather be like in Uzbekistan from August 24 to 30? Newspaper review
This week, the heat in Uzbekistan will decrease slightly, but this does not mean that cool days have arrived. At the beginning and middle of the week, relatively cooler air flows will come from the north and east. Towards the end of the week, the heat will increase again, with maximum temperatures reaching +40 degrees.

What will the weather be like in Uzbekistan on August 24-30? Newspaper review
As a result of the redistribution of air flows at the southern edge of the anticyclone in Uzbekistan, relatively cool air is entering the republic. On August 24-28, except for the Kyzylkum, Bukhara-Navoi deserts and southern regions, daytime temperatures in the country will mainly be around +35…+38 degrees.
In Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya and some desert regions, the temperature may rise to +40 degrees. At night, it is expected to be around +17…+22 degrees in most regions.
According to foreign weather bureaus, on weekdays in most parts of Uzbekistan, the air temperature is likely to be 1-2 degrees above the climatic norm due to the warmer air wave on Thursday-Friday.
According to the Uzhydromet forecasts for weekdays, no precipitation is expected across the republic until Friday. Only short-term precipitation is expected in the northern regions, the Fergana Valley and mountainous areas during the weekend. The precipitation forecast map below shows in blue which regions will experience precipitation during the week.
The weekly temperature has noticeably decreased compared to the previous and previous weeks. By August 28, the daytime air temperature will rise to +38 degrees in most parts of the republic, excluding the south and the desert areas of Bukhara and Navoi regions.
In Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya and some desert areas, the maximum air temperature will reach +40 degrees. In the mountains, it is determined that it will be +27 degrees at the beginning of the week, and +30 degrees on other days. At night, the air temperature across the regions will fluctuate within +17…+22 degrees. In the mountains, the temperature will drop to +11 degrees.
Strong winds and dust are expected to rise in the northern, desert and southern regions at the beginning of the week.
According to another report from Uzhydromet and the forecasts of the European Center for Medium and Long-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), this week the average air temperature in most parts of the republic will be around the norm and in some regions by 1-3 degrees above the norm, while the amount of precipitation will be more than the norm in the northern regions.
Thus, summer coolness is expected throughout the republic on weekdays, and noticeably warmer weather is expected on weekends. This is a significant relief compared to last week, but the real coolness typical for the end of August has not yet begun.
The health of the population will not be much affected by the weather changes this week. Because this week the atmospheric pressure will be very close to normal. However, those living in the south and desert regions should take measures to reduce the impact of heat on the body when the temperature rises to +40 degrees during the day.
Nevertheless, a weak form of the phenomenon of "baric field change" associated with changes in atmospheric pressure during the change of air flows, and changes in atmospheric pressure during the exchange of air masses can increase the feeling of discomfort in weather-sensitive people.
Bioclimatic conditions.
At the beginning and middle of this week, Uzbeks, even residents of the southern regions, will not face very high extreme heat stress during the day. The population throughout the republic will feel comfortable climatic conditions at night and in the morning. Under such conditions, the heat load on the human body decreases and a relatively comfortable thermal environment is formed even with light clothing.
But by the weekend, residents of most of the republic will feel very hot in the afternoon, and in some areas, extreme heat.
Meanwhile, at the beginning of the week, a chilling coolness may be observed in the mountains at night and in the morning, when the air temperature will be around +11 degrees. Therefore, in mountainous areas, it is worth dressing thicker at night and in the morning.
Cosmic influences.
Strong geomagnetic activity was observed last week. Such conditions primarily reflect changes in the Earth's magnetosphere. Scientific results on the impact of geomagnetic storms on human health are still mixed; although some studies note possible connections, there is not enough reason to interpret them as direct medical effects for the general population. Current forecasts of solar activity do not highly estimate the probability of a geomagnetic storm with a "red" danger level this week.
By Friday, people susceptible to cosmic rays may be affected by a magnetic storm with a “yellow” level of danger. However, the reliability of such forecasts will decrease after a few days, so it is advisable to monitor the near-term updates.
The Uzhydromet Agency predicts that by the beginning of the week and on weekends, strong winds in the Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya regions and Karakalpakstan may increase the rise of dust from dry soil, and in some periods when the wind subsides and the atmosphere stabilizes, the accumulation of fine dispersed particles in the air may increase.
It would not hurt to familiarize yourself with the recommendations prepared by the Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee for different age groups and patients on what to do in case of increased air pollution or pollution associated with fine particles.
Thus, the heat in Uzbekistan is receding, but August may still deliver its last heat wave.
On weekdays, favorable weather is expected for most of the day, while on weekends, slightly unstable weather is expected.
