Control over dedicated A-lanes for buses to be tightened in Tashkent

Starting from November 1, control over compliance with traffic rules on dedicated lanes for public transport is planned to be tightened in Tashkent.

In order to detect violations, city services will conduct regular raids, and buses will be equipped with dashcams.

In accordance with the decision of the Tashkent City Council of People's Deputies, relevant instructions have been given to the Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs, transport authorities, and "Toshshahartransxizmat".

The raids are aimed at curbing the illegal movement and parking of passenger cars in lanes designated for public transport.

In addition to raids, the hokimiyat (city administration) also plans to introduce an automatic video recording system for violations. By December 15, dashcams will be installed on the front of buses. The cameras will record violations while in motion.

It is also planned to integrate the dashcams with the unified database of the Road Safety Department (YHXB).
